Phaeton Nordics is a Danish film production and film sales start-up company, founded by director and photographer Kristof Z. Markovics. When Kristof attended in several film festivals and had networking with his own productions globally, recognized a great need to expose and sell promising, valuable projects both in documentary and fiction, connecting established Nordic filmmakers with the international venue.
We are committed to represent film projects that we believe in. Just as our own productions here at Phaeton Nordics. All film projects have their own values, where we consider artistic works as business potentials. That's exactly we are keeping in mind, when going to collaborate with various film productions.
Therefore our aim is to group both the production-phase and the movie's afterlife together with established filmmakers and clients - everything in-house.
Throughout our services we are determined to increase the chance to pass valuable and potential film projects to the global industry film market. While we are collaborating with filmmakers and productions, our company is attending also in some of the most relevant international film festivals and markets.
We are determined to build up our network with great talents, clients and partners to create a strong, market leader brand in Denmark and the region.
Kristof Z. Markovics
CEO
Kristof directed, photographed couple of fiction, documentary and commercial projects, and worked in camera departments in the Danish film industry.
Kristof was a remote screener member in the pre-selection team of Oscar-qualified Woodstock Film Festival, US in 2023, where he had an exclusive insight to the current visual trends and contemporary film language worldwide, which gave a great experience to navigate potential filmmakers even better to the film festival market.
He was nominated and awarded as Best Director in Canada and Denmark, pitched his film projects in different venues and contests, and his previous Danish short films were officially selected, nominated and awarded in several film festivals globally, such as in Denmark, Finland, Canada, Mexico, Hungary and so on.
Andras Schenkerik
Co-Founder
Andy is an Enterprise Architect with over 10 years of experience in software delivery,
technical management and enterprise change management. He is a CEO of the international IT company Zenosyne Technologies and has several years of expertise of start-up company development.
Andy was selected as Leader of the year in Hungary for the Young entrepreneur award Top 3 in 2023.
He worked alongside Kristof on a couple of short films as production assistant before, therefore Phaeton Nordics
as a start-up gives a perfect collaboration for them to combine their interests in terms of film and business.
